Collars
When we look at someone, we focus on the head, neck, and shoulders.
By combining this with the two key factors of clothing –fit and style– we
highlight the essentials: does your garment sit cleanly around your neck
and shoulders and does it look effortless and stylish?

Curve, A Hume London signature, the Curve is a multi purpose collar, it can be worn to the office with a tie for a classic work shirt, or at the weekend open and more relaxed in a linen or brushed cotton. What makes this design unique is the subtle ‘S’ shape which brings a softness to the overall collar as it rolls over.

Classic, As it says on the tin this serves as a versatile go-to option, effortless to wear and blends in seamlessly. Not so much a style statement but more so a statement in its own simplicity.

Cassius, In latin text Cassius is a masculine name with a meaning related to vanity. In a historical sense the name became synonymous with rebellion and the dissent against authority. A perfect name to be given to this collar as it is a statement. A modern take on a 70s staple, it makes you think of late nights in smoky streets abuzz with the energy of the city.

Castelein, This collar takes inspiration from a portrait by the artist Ernest Castelein. James fell in love with the way the collar appeared to sit on the models shoulders and roll so elegantly. He set about creating a collar that created the same impact on the wearer. With an exaggerated tie space it is a collar that can only be worn open, but looks so elegant and romantic while doing so.

Curator, This is a spin on the stand collar or the Nehru collar. The inverted band offers something quite different in comparison to the other options available. This makes it the perfect choice for an architect or designer, or someone with quirky yet minimalistic sensibilities.

Crisp, Inspired by a portrait of Quentin Crisp spotted at an art fair, James loved the way this more pointed collar looked so he set about trying to recreate the elements he liked. The result is a collar with a distinctly preppy feel—perfect for a more relaxed weekend shirt. Think of it as a playful alternative to the classic button- down.
